Short Coffee Mug in Satin Cream Speckle

A short, wide, wheel-thrown mug made using a pale, flecked stoneware. These mugs are glazed with a warm, cream-coloured satin (semi-matte) glaze; it's very smooth and tactile. The flecks in the clay pop through the glaze as dark brown speckles, adding some surface interest. The handles flow naturally from the wall of the mug, curving and tapering towards the base.

Each hand-thrown mug is unique, so you can expect some small variations.

Larger than an espresso cup, these are a good size for a short, strong coffee, like a flat white.
