Cup in Cream Speckle

A handle-less cup inspired by yunomi, or Japanese tea bowls, with a stepped foot ring. Made from flecked stoneware and glazed with a warm, cream-coloured glaze in a semi-matte finish, which allows the flecks to come through as brown speckles. The slightly tapered shape allows these cups to stack. They are a pleasing weight in the hand, and are very smooth and tactile to hold. You can expect some subtle variations of shape and size, as is usual with handmade ceramics.
